She smiled at Wednesday, and said, "I think this one's a keeper". She smiled her bright smile. Then she patted Shadow's arm and walked away down the sidewalk. He watched her go, trying - and failing - not to think about her thighs rubbing together as she walked. Eostre or Easter or Ostara was a Goddess, before. She was new life, the world renewing, mother nature in her dancing days. She was all about fertility. Her body was a circle. The Old Wolf, Mr Wednesday, knew that, which is why he needed her. And she did her part. Eostre rode the lightning. Humanity is odd for Eostre, but she's coping. She's still tired in the Winter.
